On 29 January 2026, Dr. Rodanthi-Elisavet Mamouri, Coordinator of the Atmospheric Cluster of the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Principal Investigator of the CARO station, participated in the ALPHA KALIMERA programme on Alpha TV Cyprus, hosted by Katerina Agapitou. During the interview, Dr. Mamouri discussed the intense dust transport event recorded in Limassol on 27 January 2026 by the CARO national research infrastructure of the ERATOSTHENES CoE. She presented the infrastructure of the station, explained the atmospheric conditions responsible for the event, and provided information on dust forecasts.
