On 28 February 2026, members of the ATARRI project and researchers from the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence (ECoE) participated in the 3rd Science Fair at The Grammar School, Limassol, engaging with students and parents from across Cyprus.
At the ATARRI–ECoE booth, the team introduced young visitors to the fascinating world of Earth Observation and Remote Sensing through interactive science games and small experiments that demonstrated atmospheric and environmental concepts in a fun and accessible way.
Visitors also received ATARRI and ECoE communication materials, learning more about the project’s mission and the regional importance of the CARO infrastructure for environmental monitoring and space-based research.
Events like this are an important part of our outreach activities, helping to spark scientific curiosity, strengthen science literacy, and inspire the next generation of researchers in Earth observation and environmental technologies.
