Dr. Rodrigo Amaroe SILVA

Rodrigo is a postdoc researcher at the University of Lisbon (Portugal) and an associated researcher at Mines Paris PSL (France). He has an MSc in Energy and Environmental Engineering (2014) and a PhD in Geophysics and Geoinformation Sciences (2020) both from the University of Lisbon.

Having participated in two H2020 projects (PROSEU at ULisbon, and e-shape at Mines Paris PSL), he is currently co-leading the photovoltaic modelling for Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) Energy operational service. Rodrigo also is a member of the IEA PVPS Task16, co-leading the subtask dedicated to solar forecasting.

His current research interests include PV modelling at the regional scale, as well as solar forecasting.
