Chong LI

Since 2021, Chong Li is a Scientific Officer at GRASP SAS, where she focuses on atmospheric remote sensing, algorithm development, and data analysis. Her key responsibilities include integrating ground-based and satellite aerosol remote sensing instruments into the GRASP algorithm. She handles data analysis, visualization and validation and actively participates in research projects funded by ESA, EUMETSAT and the EU.

Prior to joining GRASP SAS, she worked as a Junior Scientist at Peking University, where she contributed to multiple projects, focusing on aerosol remote sensing and model development to enhance the accuracy of aerosol retrievals.

Chong holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics and Atmospheric Environment from Peking University, Beijing, China (2021), and a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, China (2016).
