Anton Lopatin has been a Senior Science Officer at GRASP SAS since 2024, following a seven-year tenure as Science Officer. In his role, he leads research and development in multi-instrument aerosol retrieval methods, contributing to key projects funded by ESA, EUMETSAT, and the EU. His expertise lies in remote sensing, with a focus on developing aerosol products through integrated techniques involving satellite and ground-based observations.
Before joining GRASP SAS, Anton contributed to the Laboratory of Atmospheric Optics (LOA) at Lille University, France, where he developed aerosol retrieval methods combining active and passive remote sensing data. Earlier in his career, he was a Junior Scientist at the Laboratory of Scattering Media, Institute of Physics, NAS of Belarus, Minsk.
Anton holds a Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in Atmospheric Optics, from Lille University, France (2013), and an M.S. in Physics, focusing on Radiophysics, from Belarusian State University, Minsk (2009).
