Scientists, researchers, and innovators from across Europe gathered to launch ATARRI (ATmospheric and SolAR Research and Innovation), an ambitious project funded by the EU Horizon Europe program. Together with our amazing partners—Ciencias uLisboa, GRASP SAS, Observatorium Davos PMOD and World Radiation Center WRC, Barcelona Supercomputing Centre CNS, ARMINES, Mines Paris – PSL, and FCiencias ID—we kicked off this exciting journey with one mission: to drive the future of atmospheric and solar research.
At the heart of ATARRI is CARO (Cyprus Atmospheric Remote Sensing Observatory), leading the project through the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence Eratosthenes CARO National Facility and Solar Network. The aim of the project is to enhance the atmospheric research of the Centre. This effort will focus on four key areas:

This is just the beginning of an incredible journey! Stay tuned for more updates as we make this vision a reality!
