As part of the ATARRI project, PhD students Athina Savva and Konstantinos Chrysostomou visited GRASP SAS in Lille within the Short-Term Staff Exchanges framework.
They were trained by Dr. Anton Lopatin and Dr. Masahiro Momoi on the GRASP algorithm, following previous workshops and virtual trainings.
During the visit, the GRASP code was adapted to the atmospheric and surface conditions of the Limassol area, using CARO station data (Lidar & Sun-photometer), and several cases were analyzed to assess retrieval accuracy.
A valuable step forward for strengthening ATARRI’s research capacity and collaboration.
