ATARRI members Aspasia Palikaridou and Dr. Efthimios Georgiou @eratosthenes Centre of Excellence participated in the five-day Solar Winter School on 16-20 February 2026 organized by the Center Observation, Impacts, Energy (OIE) of MINES Paris – PSL.
The programme included lectures, hands-on sessions, and field visits on solar radiation measurements, satellite data, modelling, forecasting, and AI applications in solar energy.
During the PhD poster session, Aspasia Palikaridou presented work on the CARO station, the ATARRI project, and satellite data validation.
This training strengthened participants’ skills in solar radiation assessment, forecasting, and PV sustainability, while promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange in the solar energy research community.
