The ATARRI 1st Training School on Solar and Aerosol Measurements and Modelling was successfully held from 29 June to 1 July 2026 at the Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol, Cyprus.
The three-day programme covered three key topics: Solar & Aerosol Measurements, Calibration and Modelling led by PMOD/WRC; Aerosol Retrievals and Advanced Remote Sensing Applications led by GRASP; and Dust Modelling, Forecasting and Atmospheric Processes led by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).
The training provided participants with valuable knowledge on solar and aerosol measurements, remote sensing and retrieval techniques, and dust modelling and forecasting, while strengthening knowledge exchange and collaboration among ATARRI partners and participants.
