International Laser Radar Conference (ILRC32) | 5th – 10th July 2026, at Hiroshima, Japan.

The International Laser Radar Conference (ILRC32) took place between 5th – 10th July 2026, at Hiroshima, Japan. 4 PhD students of the cluster of the Atmosphere participated in this event, having 3 poster presentations and 1 oral. Aspasia Pallikaridou presented her work with title “Ground-Based Sunphotometer and Lidar Assessment of EarthCARE Aerosol Products from MSI and ATLID”, Maria Poutli presented her poster “Long-range smoke transport from North America: Optical characterization of smoke layers over the Eastern Mediterranean by means of PollyXT lidar”, Athina Savva her poster titled “Assessing the Impact of Volume Depolarization Ratio on GRASP Aerosol Retrievals: A comparative study using PollyXT Raman Lidar and Sun-photometer Data in Limassol, Cyprus”, and Konstantinos Chrysostomou his poster “Cloud Microphysical Properties Derivation through Multi-Sensor Synergy: Joint Lidar-Radar Retrievals”.
