On 6 February 2026, the first seminar under Task 6.1, entitled “Best practices for a scientific presentation”, was delivered by Romana Konjevod (Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación( BSC-CNS) as part of the complementary skills-development programme. The seminar introduced the core principles of effective scientific oral communication, emphasising that communication quality is a critical component of research impact and visibility, and that most ineffective presentations result from information overload rather than insufficient scientific content.
