High school visit at CARO station |11 April 2025

As part of the ATARRI research project, on Friday, April 11, 19 students from Agia Fylaxi high school visited the Cyprus Atmospheric Remote Sensing Observation (CARO) in Limassol, operated by the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence.
During the visit, students were introduced to the station’s scientific instruments used for observing aerosol particles, wind and clouds, in the atmosphere over Limassol. Through guided tours and presentations, the students explored modern technologies for monitoring air pollution and climate change, while strengthening their environmental awareness and scientific curiosity.
