Laura MENÉNDEZ

Laura Menéndez is Innovation Officer for EU Projects of the Project Innovation Management Unit at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. There, she is responsible for innovation and exploitation related activities of the center’s investigative agenda, including impact assessment and IPR during the pre- and post-award stages. A native of Barcelona, she returned to her hometown and joined the BSC in February 2024 after more than a decade of research experience in the United States. Her academic background includes a B.A. in translation and editing at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a visiting fellowship at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and literary doctoral studies at Stanford University, where she taught courses on literature and film and was, among others, a fellow at the Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis and research coordinator for a range of interdisciplinary projects. She has ample experience in writing and coordinating research proposals, teaching, and training, and is excited to join ATARRI’s adventure to drive its highest impact and excellence.
