Coordination and Management I-ΙΙ
The main objective of this WP1 is to coordinate the project activities, including the financial aspects and administrative issues. To ensure the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables through the effective coordination of EcoE and leading partners, robust technical and financial management, and strict Quality Assurance (QA) for all project activities and associated deliverables.
WP3-4
Enhance the Scientific Capacity of CARO/ECoE I-ΙΙ
Strengthen ECοE’s expertise in atmospheric modelling and climate related studies by transferring knowledge from internationally-leading research institutions. The transfer on knowledge activities will target at the enhancement of the theoretical background and the capacity of the ECOE staff.
WP5
Enhance the Management and administration skills of CARO/ECoE
Strengthen ECοE’s expertise in research management and administration by transferring knowledge from internationally-leading research institutions. The transfer on knowledge activities will target at the enhancement of the technical skills of the ECοE staff with complementary skills related with issues such as spin-offs companies, entrepreneurship and best practices and examples from co-operation with industry.
WP6-7
Raise the research profile of the ECoE I-ΙΙ
Bridge the gap with the world class science institutions and networks in the field of atmospheric remote sensing and modelling, enriching the research profile at individual and institutional level. The knowledge will be propagated at national level, leading to increasing Cyprus’s research performance.
WP8
Exploratory Research Project: “The role of Dust to the climate”
The objectives of WP8 are to test the newly gained knowledge and promote collaborative research between the coordinator and leading partners. ATARI’s objective is to increase the multidisciplinary research capacity of the EcoE, for atmospheric and climate studies using both EO and modelling tools. This will be accomplished by delivering pilot research activities that can be used as demonstration and promote the research capacity of the ECoE/CARO beyond the end of the project. The research capacity demonstration project is also expected to enhance the research profile of the personnel involved in these actions and promote multi-disciplinary projects in the future and to create feedback mechanisms on re-evaluating the transferred knowledge. The objectives of WP5 are aligned with the three objectives of the proposal, in collaboration will all partners, with EcoE being the common link.
